This Everglades exploration begins with a 30-minute airboat ride across the primordial, glistening waters of the park. This guided tour will be led by an experienced, seasonal captain. Learn of the tales of the Seminole Tribe coexisting in the dense wilderness alongside the Florida panther. As you skid across the tranquil rivers, catch glimpses of endangered animal species – let yourself connect with the fragility and awesomeness of nature.
Your reservation includes a visit to the Exotic Wildlife Exhibit in Sawgrass Recreational Park. This conservational organization brings a different variety of animals to the park every day. Their mission is to illuminate the public about endangered Florida species, like the Florida panther, leopards, wolves, and smaller mammals. The handlers are experts on these wildlife creatures and are more than happy to answer your questions.
The Sawgrass Recreation Park will be operating at a reduced capacity to maintain social distancing.
IMPORTANT: Reservations will be required. Both a date AND time of visit must be chosen. Walk-ins will not be admitted. We will allow no more than 60 guests at the Sawgrass Park in one hour. Guests must contact us directly for a reservation time, after purchasing their tickets.
Visitors will be required to wear masks while inside the gift shop. Masks will not be required outdoors, but are encouraged for general public safety.
Staff will put forth extra efforts to clean, sanitize, and encourage social distancing amongst the visitors. Airboats will be cleaned between each tour and we have dedicated full-time staff for cleaning and sanitizing throughout the entire day to guarantee the highest levels of cleanliness.
